Rotary straightening is the process of choice for a wide variety of parts made from wire or pipe. “The number of applications for rotary straightening is constantly growing, including medical engineering and the broad field of special metals. PrecisionCut UD2 – The solution for demanding wires
Visitors to wire 2024 will be able to see the PrecisionCut UD2, a modern straightening and cutting machine for wires up to 4 mm in diameter, live in action at the Jouhsen-bündgens stand. “Wires are becoming increasingly demanding, with extreme requirements for straightness and surface finish,” says Renz. With the UD2, the wire processing specialists have developed a machine that is up to the challenge. Designed with changeable straighteners, the UD2 can process wire sections measuring 0.05 to 4 mm in diameter and 3 to 3,000 mm in length efficiently and precisely.
