    PrecisionCut UD2 – for wire and small stainless steel bars

    The straightening and cutting machine PrecisionCut UD2 is designed as a flexible modular system: The possibility to use different sizes of straighteners on one machine, warrant short changeover times for a wide range of applications. As a result manufacturers can produce materials with varying material strengths and diameters very economically. The UD2 is suitable to produce short and long bars from 5 to 4,000 millimetres as well as to run wire diameters in the range 0.05 to 4 mm. The rigid machine design achieves an output performance of maximal 500 parts per minute.

    PrecisionCut MJC9 – application for precise rectangular short cut offs

    With the PrecisionCut MJC9, Jouhsen-bündgens offers the wire industry a machine concept optimised for the manufacturing of precise, rectangular, short cut offs at high speeds: up to 600 parts per minute with lengths of 1.5 x d up to 70 mm. The cut off system in the MJC machine is working with a “bush-bush” system, which realises in combination with the exact infeed rectangular and bur free cut offs . Users can process wires with diameters between 3.5 and 9.3 millimetres.

From straightening and cutting through electro fission and end machining to cold forming and point grinding - machines from Jouhsen Bundgens process wires with the tightest tolerances at high speed. read more

    The equipment covers a wide range of applications: producing components for electronics and the automotive industry; drive and cam chains, bearings or pins. Also for medical applications, lancets, cannulas or surgical needles can often be cut, ground and loaded into magazines at a rate of thousand parts per minute.

  • Precision-grinding needle points: PrecisionGrind PG2 uses a cassette system and automatic infeed unit 05.09.2014  

    The innovative needle grinding machine PG2 allows needle points to be ground quickly and precisely with diameters of 0.25 mm to 1.60 mm and lengths of 17 mm to 60 mm: At high speed the machine processes up to 850 parts per minute. read more

    Rapid infeed thanks to the cassette system

    What's special about PG2? The parts are fed into the machine via a cassette system and automatic infeed unit. This dispenses with the need for manual changes and infeeding. The speed of the transport and grinding wheel is infinitely variable – the angles can be motor-adjusted with a high degree of repeat accuracy. This makes the grinding process more flexible and significantly more cost-effective.

    Needle grinding machines with fast tooling times

    The grinding process is controlled with a high degree of precision via a state-of-the-art touch panel: All important parameters can be easily programmed. The length and shape of the point and the discharge output can also be easily adjusted. As a result, the machine guarantees extremely fast tooling times.

    The PG2's robust machine housing is designed in such a way that a technician or operator can easily access the components from all sides at any time.
